Asbestos Mesothelioma is a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. However, what you should really ask is, "what is cancer?".
In 1931, Dr. Otto Warburg received a Nobel prize for his work on discovering the nature of cancer cells. Warburg stated that "the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar". Normal healthy cells breathe in oxygen and use it to convert other nutrients into energy. Cancer cells are essentially normal cells that have been deprived of oxygen and have transformed into cells that instead of using oxygen to create energy, they ferment sugar into energy. Unfortunately, these cancerous cells multiply much more rapidly than normal cells and will eventually grow out of control and ultimately kill the entire body.
Warburg also discovered that the cancer cells needed to live in an acidic (low pH) environment. So one way to control the cancer cells was to increase the concentration of oxygen in the blood supply which would accomplish two things. Increased levels of oxygen in the blood increased the pH level (the blood is less acidic), and would serve to choke out cancer cells. The other purpose would be to increase the amount of oxygen to healthy cells to prevent them from turning into cancerous cells. Remember that this also applies to asbestos mesothelioma cancer cells.
Warburg, received his Nobel prize based on his research that showed that respiratory enzymes were key factors in increasing oxygen supply to cells. He believed that given an increased diet of enzymes, the body would attempt to normalize the cancer cells and result in their elimination and also prevent new cancerous growth.
He believed that pesticides and artificial fertilizers decreased oxygen levels in the blood and recommended avoiding foods with exposure to those substances (eat organic foods only). He also recommended eating foods rich in iron and B vitamins (including Riboflavin, Niacin, B12), beets, and spirulina as sources of respiratory enzymes.
Therefore by boosting oxygen intake, removing carcinogens and eating respiratory enzyme rich foods, the body can naturally heal itself of cancer.
Warburg believed that:
"These proposals are in no way utopian. On the contrary, they may be realized by everybody, everywhere, at any hour. Unlike the prevention of many other diseases the prevention of cancer requires no government help, and no extra money."
Note that there is very little money to be made by any corporation using these principles. Vitamins and beet juice only cost a few dollars. You are sure to find that neither the American Cancer Society nor the National Cancer Institute would ever recommend this since they are partnered with chemotherapy production companies that would go out of business if people were able to cure cancer on their own.
